The Most Vote(jayp-5): When I first saw The Sixth Sense, I didn't know what to expect. I guess I was looking forward to a good scary horror flick. I was very surprised. I found that the purpose for this movie was far greater than just trying to scare the audience. I found this movie was showing not only the emotions of fear, but also faith, commitment, sadness of loss, and love. The end was so surprising, I had to see it again. The second time I watched it, I did it from a totally different perspective (this is a very rare quality for any movie), and I enjoyed it just as much, or maybe even more. I also, as many viewers have, tried to detect fallacies in the story. I couldn't find one. I believe that a great movie is one that helps the viewer perceive life and the world differently. The Sixth Sense is one of those extraordinary movies that does that to me. This movie reflects on some difficult subjects that will make the viewer walk away asking eternal questions. Questions about death, about letting go, about eternal love and commitment, about the love between parent and child, and between husband and wife. A sui generis movie filled with action, tenderness, a American-Italian mafia, corruption, and a cold blooded hit-man who finds a new meaning about life after meeting a young girl.

"León" is more than just a hit-man movie; it's the perfect combination of action and drama. The plot is more than complex than you could think. First, we can see the movie through 2 points of view.

The first, in my opinion, deals with Mathilda being literally rescued by León and then him taking care of her life (as a consequence of rescuing her; he couldn't leave her alone).

The second deals with Mathilda wanting to be a "cleaner" or a hit-man (girl version). She's obsessed with taking revenge for her little brother's murder.

Anyways she and León grow a special relationship based on tenderness and loneliness. Both have similarities between them as they are alone in the world and then they have not a secure future.

Jean Reno delivers a spectacular performance although he does not speaks that much; but his corporal acting and facial expressions are excellent. He's one fine actor. A one of a kind performance.

I can't praise this movie enough and I can't think how many times I've seen it. León is a movie that deserves to be watched by everyone.

The crucial part of the movie in my opinion is when León helps Mathilda escape from the attack Stansfield sends against them. León makes everything possible to save Mathilda and even risks his life and in a moving scene he tells her (my words are not that accurately) something like "we're gonna make it, you gave a new meaning to my life; I want to sleep in a bed (he never slept fully), drink milk, etc. Sadly, only Mathilda escapes but now her future is secure as León's money will pass to her. Then she signs into a private school for girls; now her future looks shinny.

León is the best hit-man in town but at the end he can't survive a massive attack against him. Still, a satisfactory and moving ending. Even the sexual tension between Mathilda and León is justified and totally comprehensive. Anyways, a movie that you can dig the whole time.
